Dento- Facial Orthopaedic Orthodontic

A well-balanced relationship is essential for harmony between the structure of the body and its physiology.

Dento-facial orthopaedic philosophy

The philosophy of dentofacial orthopedics relates to the belief of correcting jaw growth problems and their causes as early as possible while the patients upper and lower jawbones are still growing. It is also important to correct any aberrant soft tissue habits such as tongue thrust, reverse swallows and mouth breathing.

The beauty of the face is the bone structure and their balanced relationship to each other. Nasal breathing, correct tongue posture and ideal intermeshing of teeth and an unloaded jaw joint are all-critical for normal growth and development.
